Anemones are the flowers of the rockpools. Brightly coloured and still, they are easy to spot and admire.
Beadelet anemones are numerous and quite often, the first you will see on a low tide. Clinging to rocks among the limpets, they'll appear like a lifeless, burgundy, gelatinous blob. But don't be mistaken, when the tide rises again to immerse them, they'll open up into a beautiful flower of the sea, ready to catch prey!
The Actinaria poster closes the rockpool illustration series. The Artwork is complete and has just been sent off to press. If all goes well, the print should be available for purchase via our store within the next two weeks.
